Individual therapy


Individual psychotherapy allows an accepting, confident and trusting atmosphere. This develops the individual´s potential which enables them to be authentic and express themselves with all their freedom without fear of being judged. Furthermore, it helps to acquire an internal coherence between what they think, what they feel, and what they do. This way they can achieve a fulfilling life with a sense of health and wellness.


Each therapy is personalized considering the needs, the objectives (what is wished to be changed), the personal resources and the social context of the patient.


For this reason, the duration varies. It can be from one orientation session to multiple months. Each person has their rhythm and it has to be respected, trying at the same time that each visit is the most effective possible. It is important to avoid that treatment is unnecessarily increased.


There are a lot of reasons why a person decides to receive psychotherapy. Often life’s challenges, traumas, dilemmas, and difficult moods can distract from the very realization that something is not working out in life.
